Showtime, CTV & Troika Among Top N. America Winners at PROMAX/BDA 2007 Awards

Promax/BDA held its annual Promax/BDA Design Awards to honor North America and World Gold winners. Dividing the competition into North America and World Gold based on entrants' primary region of business, the big winner in the North America competition was Showtime Networks, which earned four Gold and six Silver awards, closely followed by Canada's CTV Television, which picked up four Gold and five Silver statues, and Troika Design, which earned four Gold and two Silver awards.

Among World Gold contenders, Sci Fi Channel took home five Gold and six Silver statues, while Britain's BSkyB was awarded four Gold and four Silver statues. A number of companies also earned three Gold awards each, including Fox Sports, MTV International, MTV UK and NBC Universal Global Networks.

Promax/BDA was also proud to bestow its BDA Lifetime Achievement Award to Bob Greenberg, Chairman, CEO and Global Chief Creative Officer of R/GA. A pioneer in the advertising industry for three decades, Greenberg has been instrumental in creating and developing new agency models, while being a true innovator in bringing design and marketing into the digital age.
