The Viral Factory (www.theviralfactory.com) was honored with the awards for Best Branded Entertainment, Best Stand-Alone Viral, Best Use of Humor, and Most Innovative Viral, at the Future Marketing Awards, held February 23 in New York City. Those top honors all hailed “Ravenstoke,” which the studio created for Axe/Lever Faberge last year. Alex Bogusky, executive creative director of Crispin Porter + Bogusky, served as Global Jury Chairman for the awards show.

A studio specializing in viral marketing campaigns for the web, The Viral Factory recently set up shop in the United States. The move reflects a sharp increase in US-based brands seizing the opportunity to harness non-traditional marketing. A phenomenon at the forefront of its field, The Viral Factory has enjoyed unparalleled success in the UK, creating landmark campaigns for Trojan, Axe, Ford, Microsoft, and others. In addition to the Future Marketing wins, the studio has garnered top honors for its work, including multiple Cannes Lions, BTAA and EPICA awards, and the highly coveted One Show Gold Pencil. With its establishment of a strong anchor office in the US, The Viral Factory continues to develop a progressive new medium as it pursues a global brand impact for its clients.
