The nominees have been announced for the 8th Annual Golden Trailer Awards, a celebration of movie promos. The awards will be doled out in a whopping 48 categories: 16 awards show categories, 19 non-show categories and 13 movie poster categories.

The 16 show awards include categories like Best Thriller, Best Drama, Best Horror and Best Comedy. In this last category Borat, Knocked UP, Stranger Than Fiction and Talk to Me will compete for the top prize.

The non-show nominees include foreign films and more technical categories like best sound editing and best motion/title graphics/.

The ceremony is being hosted by Jeff Garlin and will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 in New York City at the Skirball Center.
